Photoshop Presentation and Intenet Research (Sessions 1 and 2)

In this weeks session we worked in groups and produced a presentation of any subject we chose. Our group decided on Photoshop (as did most of the class) and we presented them during the second session.
We looked at Photoshop through the years and how much it's changed, as well as looking at consumer products such as Photoshop Elements and rival products like GIMP and CorelDRAW, unfortunately most of the history of Photoshop had been covered in the first group's presentation (we were second) and it sounded a little repetetive. Despite this, I was quite happy with our information gathered about Photoshop Elements and Photoshop concerning society and consumers.
After we presented our work, we were sent to research particular information on the internet. Again, we worked in our groups. We found that most of the information was a little too farfetched to be considered reliable, and some information we found was backed up with evidence that suggested that it was in fact more accurate and could be considered as reliable and trustworthy. We worked together quite well and found a lot of evidence that backed up our decisions.
Next week we will be looking at book research and pre-production, production and post-production.
